One person sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash involving a sedan and a Toyota truck in Fallbrook, San Diego County, early Saturday morning, April 19, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 12:54 a.m. at the intersection of East Mission Road and Davis Drive.
A person involved in the crash complained of chest pain and was evaluated and transferred to the fire department for treatment.
The other driver fled the scene on foot, heading east on Mission Road. No description of the suspect has been provided.
Both vehicles were left disabled and blocking traffic lanes, requiring emergency crews and tow services to respond quickly to clear the area.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
