[04-22-2024] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Injured After Pursuit Led To Hit-and-Run Collision in Long Beach

One person was injured after a pursuit led to a hit-and-run collision in Long Beach late Monday evening, April 22, 2024.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the incident occurred past 11:00 p.m. between 15th Street and Locust Avenue.

Reports indicate that the police were in pursuit of a black Honda until it collided with another vehicle.

The innocent victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital. No other injuries were cited.

The three occupants of the suspect vehicle fled the scene on foot, but two were detained by the police. 

The authorities are currently searching for the suspect, who managed to escape. Further details have yet to be released.
