[04-22-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed , Another Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 101 Freeway Near Woodland Hills

One person was killed, and another was injured in a multi-vehicle collision on the Ventura (101) Freeway near Woodland Hills early Wednesday morning, April 22, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 1:36 a.m. on the northbound freeway near the Valley Circle Boulevard exit.

Authorities stated that a black sedan and a black SUV were found in the middle lanes of the freeway, while a dark sedan and a black Dodge Charger were also involved in a separate collision nearby.

One individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was transported to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel with injuries that have not been disclosed.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
