One person was killed while another was injured following a hit-and-run collision in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, on Friday afternoon, April 26, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal crash happened at around 2:05 p.m. on the 6900 block of Sepulveda Boulevard.
LAPD stated that the suspect vehicle struck two pedestrians along the roadway before fleeing the scene. One of the victims reportedly died at the scene, while the other was transported to a local hospital. The surviving victim’s current condition and extent of injuries were not available at this time.
