A pedestrian was injured following a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of Wiley Canyon Road and Lyons Avenue in Newhall, Santa Clarita, on Thursday afternoon, May 1, 2025.
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the collision was reported around 12:23 p.m. and involved a red Nissan Altima and a male pedestrian.
Patrol deputies arrived at the scene within two minutes, but the suspect’s vehicle had already fled toward Interstate 5.
The pedestrian was awake and in stable condition when he was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station continues to investigate the incident.
