Six people were injured following a five-vehicle crash on the northbound 15 Freeway near Highway 138 in the Cajon Pass, San Bernardino County, on Friday morning, May 2, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at approximately 10:49 a.m. near mile marker 25.70. The crash occurred during heavy fog, with visibility reduced to about 50 feet.
Authorities stated that five vehicles sustained major damage in the collision. Paramedics assessed six patients, and four were transported by ambulance for medical treatment. Injuries included head, back, chest, arm, and leg trauma.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, though CHP indicated that foggy conditions likely contributed to the incident.
