Several people were injured following a possible fatal head-on collision at a stoplight in the Hawthorne area of Los Angeles County early Sunday morning, May 4, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:55 a.m. at West Imperial Highway and Hawthorne Boulevard. Authorities reported that a vehicle struck at least two other vehicles head-on while they were stopped at the light.
Emergency crews transported a driver and another individual to a hospital for treatment. Four other people were treated at the scene for unspecified injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
