According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the traffic crash occurred at about 5:55 a.m. at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Olive Street.

Police stated that a Foothill Transit bus struck an SUV at the intersection. The bus driver, who was said to be a woman, managed to get out of the vehicle on her own power but was slow-moving. She was transported to a local hospital after sustaining still-unknown injuries.

The SUV driver, meanwhile, appeared to be uninjured and was walking fine. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the LAPD.

Olympic Boulevard was blocked off completely in both directions around the crash site as the authorities investigated and cleared up the scene.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Further details were not provided at this time.
