A car crashed into a recently opened toy store in San Diego’s North Park neighborhood following a two-vehicle collision on Monday morning, May 19, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred just before 9:30 a.m. at Replay Toys Boutique, located at 2948 University Avenue near 30th Street.
Investigators believe one vehicle ran a red light and struck a white sedan, causing it to veer off course and crash into the front of the toy store.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. However, the impact caused significant structural damage to the building and ruptured a water pipe inside the store.
The crash remains under investigation.
