A person was transported to a hospital following a crash involving a big rig and another vehicle on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, early Saturday morning, May 23, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 3:15 a.m. on the southbound freeway just north of South Indiana Street. Authorities have not released details about the victim’s condition.
