A female pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the Florence area of South Los Angeles on Sunday night, May 25, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 10:05 p.m. at the intersection of 85th and Main streets.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced the woman dead. ABC7 reported that the crash occurred outside a liquor store.
Authorities have not released a description of the vehicle involved, and it is unclear whether the driver remained at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the LAPD’s Operations Center.
