One person was killed following what appeared to be a head-on collision in Santa Clarita on Friday afternoon, May 29, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred around 2:40 p.m. on Newhall Ranch Road between Rye Canyon Road and Copper Hill Drive.
Authorities reported that the collision involved a wrong-way driver, and at least one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
