[05-30-2024] At Least Three People Injured Following Bus Vs. Vehicle Collision Along Palm AvenueAt least three people were injured following a bus vs. vehicle collision in Fresno on Thursday morning, May 30, 2024.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the traffic incident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Palm Avenue and Holland Avenue.

FPD said that a Fresno Unified school bus carrying a total of nineteen students was leaving Powers-Ginsburg Elementary School and turning onto Palm Avenue when a Jeep suddenly struck it.

Three students aboard the bus complained of pain and were evaluated by the medical personnel who arrived on the scene. There were no other injuries reported from the occupants of the bus immediately following the crash.

It is still unclear if the Jeep driver was injured in the incident. The vehicle reportedly sustained major front-end damage.

No further information was immediately available, and the authorities are still gathering all the necessary details to determine the cause of the crash and the factors that may have contributed to it.
