A woman was severely injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Studio City, Los Angeles, on Sunday night, June 1, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Laurel Canyon Boulevard near Moorpark Street.
A dark-colored SUV traveling southbound hit two parked vehicles and two pedestrians before fleeing the scene without providing assistance.
One of the pedestrians, a 52-year-old woman, sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The other pedestrian declined medical treatment at the scene.
Authorities stated the suspect vehicle, possibly a blue or dark blue SUV, has visible damage to its front-right side. LAPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the driver.
The investigation is ongoing.
