[06-01-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Driver Rescued After Pickup Truck Crashes Into Semi on Westbound I-10 in San Dimas

A driver was rescued after their pickup truck collided with the back of a semi truck on the westbound Interstate 10 in San Dimas, Los Angeles County, on Monday afternoon, June 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was initially reported as a brush fire around 2:05 p.m., but responders discovered a two-vehicle collision.

Authorities stated that the pickup truck rear-ended a semi truck parked on the right side of the freeway near Kellogg Drive.

Firefighters extricated the driver from the pickup truck, who was then transported to a hospital. The condition of the driver and whether anyone was inside the semi-truck have not been released.

A second big rig was seen at the scene, though it is unknown whether it was involved in the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
