[06-02-2024] Female Pedestrian Killed After Getting Hit by Vehicle Along Anaheim Street in WilmingtonA female pedestrian was killed after getting hit by a vehicle in Los Angeles on Sunday night, June 2, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian vs. vehicle crash occurred at around 10:34 p.m. on Anahaim Street on-ramp to the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway inside the Wilmington neighborhood.

There is no word yet about the identity of the deceased victim. It is said that she was wearing dark clothing at the time of the crash.

There was no immediate information about the condition of the driver who struck the woman. It is also still unclear if they stayed on the scene or not.

CHP closed the on-ramp and the No.3 and 4 lanes of the freeway momentarily as a precaution. The ramp and all lanes involved went back to normal at about 1:18 a.m.

Further information was not immediately available, and the authorities are still gathering all the necessary details to determine the cause of the collision.

The investigation conducted by the CHP is continuing.
