Two people were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Long Beach on Sunday night, June 2, 2024.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the traffic incident happened at about 8:20 p.m. at Studebaker Road and Willow Avenue.
LBPD said that a vehicle traveling northbound on Studebaker Road collided with another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction as it turned left onto eastbound Willow Street. The impact of the collision caused the northbound vehicle to flip over.
The driver of the flipped car reportedly suffered minor injuries in his upper body. At the same time, the driver of the other car was taken to a nearby hospital after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. Neither of the two injured individuals has been identified as of yet.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. DUI and distracted driving are not believed to be possible factors.
