Multiple injuries were reported after a vehicle crashed into a restaurant in Burbank on Monday night, June 3, 2024.
According to the Burbank Police Department, the single-vehicle collision happened just before 10:00 p.m. on West Riverside Drive near Rose Street.
Police said that a white BMW SUV, for some reason, plowed through the side of a Veggie Grill restaurant on West Riverside Drive. The BMW was seen completely inside the establishment’s dining area when responders arrived.
It is said that there were people inside the restaurant when the crash occurred. There is still no word yet on the total number of people involved in the incident, but all of them were treated for minor injuries on-scene.
The driver of the BMW, whose identity remains undisclosed, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
No further information was immediately available. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
