[06-08-2025] Street Vendor Injured After Mustang Crashes Into Parked Truck on Highway 395A street vendor was injured after a vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed into a parked truck near a roadside stand in Hesperia on Sunday morning, June 8, 2025.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred near the corner of Avenal Street and Highway 395, in front of the El Rancho Animal Feed Store. 

The driver of a Ford Mustang had been traveling behind another vehicle that reportedly braked unexpectedly. In an attempt to avoid a collision, the driver swerved and lost control.

The Mustang struck a brick wall with iron fencing and then hit the front of a parked Toyota Tacoma. The vendor, who was unloading items from the back of the truck at the time, was injured.

The vendor complained of leg pain and was transported by ambulance for further evaluation. It remains unclear whether he was struck directly or injured by debris or the force of impact.

The driver of the Mustang remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The Hesperia Police Department is investigating the crash.
