A man was killed in a crash involving a bus and a motorcycle near downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred around 5:17 a.m. near the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Alameda Street, just south of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway.
Initial reports indicate the rider collided with a DASH bus and was pronounced dead at the scene. Fire department personnel responded but determined the man, believed to be in his mid-30s, had sustained fatal injuries and could not be revived.
No other individuals required treatment or transport, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The LAPD’s Central Traffic Division is investigating the fatal crash.
