Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the Ventura (101) Freeway in Studio City, Los Angeles, early Tuesday morning, June 17, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 2:19 a.m. on the westbound 101 Freeway near the Tujunga Avenue exit at the junction with the Hollywood (170) and Ventura (134) freeways.
Authorities said a black sedan, a gray SUV, and a white semi-truck were involved in the crash. The vehicles were found blocking several lanes of the freeway when officers arrived.
A male and a female occupant, whose names and ages have not yet been released, were pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
