[06-26-2024] Fresno County, CA – One Person Hospitalized Following Pedestrian Vs. Vehicle Collision in Clovis

One person was hospitalized following a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision in Clovis on Wednesday afternoon, June 26, 2024. 

According to the Clovis Police Department, the crash happened around 1:46 p.m. near Gettysburg between Peach and Willow Avenues. 

Authorities stated that a person was loading materials into the trailer when, for some reason, an SUV hit them while they were inside the trailer. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. The extent of the injuries, as well as the condition of the injured person, remain unclear.

Police said the SUV driver remained at the scene and was being evaluated for impaired driving. The identities of the people involved in the incident have not yet been disclosed. As of this writing, it is unknown what caused the collision. 

Further information regarding the crash has yet to be released by the authorities.
