A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on Sunday night, June 29, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 9:03 p.m. at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Gardner Street. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses described the fleeing vehicle as a blue Mercedes-Benz G-class SUV. The driver fled the area before authorities arrived.
Footage from the scene showed a white canopy covering the victim as investigators worked to document the crash site.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released. The incident remains under investigation by the LAPD.
