[07-03-2026] Tehama County, CA – Multiple Killed, Others Injured in Head-On Crash on State Route 36 in Red Bluff

Multiple people were killed, and others were injured in a head-on crash in Red Bluff on Friday, July 3, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 3:15 p.m. on State Route 36 east of Dales Station and involved a Chevrolet van and a Ram pickup truck.

Authorities confirmed that the crash resulted in multiple fatalities and additional injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released.

Investigators said alcohol and drugs are not suspected as factors in the collision. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
