[07-09-2024] Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Sherman Oaks A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, on Tuesday night, July 9, 2024. 

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal collision happened around 10:40 p.m. in the area of Sepulveda Boulevard and Clark Street.

Authorities stated that a male pedestrian was found on the roadway after he was struck by an unspecified vehicle traveling northbound on Sepulveda. The victim sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. As of now, his name, age, and place of origin are not immediately known.  

Police said that the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. It is unknown whether drugs, alcohol, or speeding played a role in the crash. 

The cause of the collision remains unclear.
