[07-11-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Van Nuys

A 38-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Van Nuys early Saturday morning, July 11, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to the incident at around 12:50 a.m. on Sepulveda Boulevard at Wyandotte Street.

Authorities said the woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. The driver fled the scene without checking on the victim. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Her identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

LAPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect. A reward of up to $50,000 is offered for information leading to the suspect’s identification, apprehension, and conviction. 

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
