A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the 10 Freeway in South Los Angeles early Sunday morning, July 13, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 2:25 a.m. on the westbound side of the freeway, just east of Budlong Avenue.
Preliminary investigations indicated that a 2015 orange Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling in the No. 2 lane when it struck the rear of a 2023 Toyota Camry. The impact caused the motorcyclist to lose control and suffer fatal injuries.
The motorcyclist was identified as 37-year-old Kevin W. of Los Angeles. The 65-year-old man driving the Camry, a resident of Glendale, was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
