Two people were injured after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Long Beach on Saturday evening, July 25, 2026.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the collision occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. near East Market Street and Elm Avenue.
Authorities said a vehicle struck two young people believed to have been riding motorized bikes before leaving the area. The ages of the victims have not been released, and no description of the suspect vehicle was provided.
Both victims were transported to a hospital for treatment. One person suffered moderate injuries, while the other sustained critical but non-life-threatening injuries.
