[08-01-2024] Santa Barbara County, CA – One Person Killed, Two Others Injured Following Two-Vehicle Crash in Santa Maria

One person was killed, while two others were injured following a two-vehicle crash in Santa Maria on Thursday morning, August 1, 2024.

According to the Santa Maria Police Department, the collision happened at about 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of Bradley Road and Stowell Road.

Upon arrival, authorities found the two vehicles involved with significant front-end damage, indicating a head-on collision. They later confirmed that one person had died, and two individuals were hurt as a result of the accident.

The name, age, and gender of the deceased person were not available pending notification of the family. It is unclear if they were a driver or a passenger.

The two surviving victims of the crash, whose identities were also undisclosed, were both transported by AMR ambulance to Marian Regional Medical Center. Their current conditions and the extent of the injuries they sustained were not provided.
