A man believed to be in his early 60s was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash in the West Adams area of Los Angeles on Sunday night, August 3, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Adams Boulevard. A vehicle traveling northbound on La Brea Avenue struck the pedestrian, who was walking outside of the crosswalk. The driver fled the scene.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
