[08-07-2025] Pedestrian Critically Injured in Crash, Car Strikes Building in BurbankA pedestrian was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash in Burbank, which also left one car stuck in the side of a business building on Thursday evening, August 7, 2025.

The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of Riverside Drive. Officers from the Burbank Police Department arrived at 8:35 p.m. to find a pedestrian on the ground and the hood of a sedan lodged in the side of a business building at 4252 Riverside Drive.

A preliminary investigation revealed that two vehicles collided at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Rose Street. As a result of the impact, one of the vehicles struck the pedestrian before careening into the building. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition.

In a 10 a.m. update, police stated that the pedestrian suffered major injuries but was conscious and responsive throughout the incident. Her identity has not yet been released. No other injuries were reported.

Footage from the scene showed significant damage, and a tow truck was needed to remove the car from the building. The Burbank Fire Department Battalion Chief confirmed that the building was structurally sound, and necessary notifications were made to the city building inspector.

The business, Feybl, which operates a coworking and creative wellness center at the location, confirmed that no employees or members were injured. The space will remain closed until further notice due to the damage.

No arrests have been made, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
