Three people were hospitalized after a collision between a school bus and a sedan in Highland on Friday morning, August 8, 2025.
According to the Cal Fire/City of Highland Fire Department, the crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Pacific Street and Sterling Avenue.
Firefighters arrived to find both vehicles with major damage, heavy smoke, and active fire. All occupants from both vehicles had safely evacuated before emergency crews arrived.
The flames were quickly extinguished, and paramedics provided care to the victims. Three individuals were transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. Their conditions have not been disclosed.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
