Two people were killed, and two others were injured in a five-vehicle crash in Inglewood on Saturday morning, August 8, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the collision was reported around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of La Brea and Beach avenues. Emergency crews arrived and found at least one person trapped inside a vehicle.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were transported to a hospital, including one person who sustained critical injuries. Authorities have not released the identities of those killed or additional information about the conditions of the injured individuals.
Witness accounts indicated that a Tesla traveling southbound on La Brea Avenue may have lost control before colliding with other vehicles. However, authorities have not confirmed the circumstances leading to the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
