[08-18-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Rollover Crash Causes Traffic Delays in North Hollywood

A multi-vehicle rollover crash caused significant traffic delays on the 170 Freeway in North Hollywood on Tuesday morning, August 18, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol traffic incident log, the collision was reported around 5:40 a.m. just south of the Oxnard Street off-ramp.

Authorities reported that one of the vehicles overturned and crossed the center divider before coming to rest on the northbound side of the freeway. Three other vehicles involved remained in the far-left lanes on the southbound side.

By approximately 6:30 a.m., southbound traffic had been reduced to a single lane while crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles and clear the roadway.

The collision caused substantial traffic backups during the morning commute. Information regarding possible injuries was not immediately available.

The investigation remains ongoing.
