Two people were killed and another critically injured in a head-on, multi-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 395 near Kramer Junction in San Bernardino County on Saturday afternoon, August 30, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. 395 and Alcudia Road.
Four vehicles were involved, including a four-door Kia Niro and a black 2010 Audi A4, with one vehicle overturning onto its side. Emergency crews confirmed two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third person was in critical condition and airlifted by Mercy Air to Antelope Valley Hospital.
At least one northbound lane of Highway 395 was blocked while authorities investigated. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Coroner Division has been requested, and the identities of the deceased will be released pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the CHP.
