A man in his 50s was killed after being struck by a suspected drunk driver in South Los Angeles on early Saturday morning, August 31, 2024.
The crash occurred around 4:00 a.m. on Crenshaw Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The incident happened as the victim was backing out of his driveway when the suspect, a 24-year-old woman, crashed into his vehicle. Paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim dead on-site.
The suspect was transported to a hospital in unknown condition. Further details have not been released.
