A young mother and her baby sustained minor injuries after a two-car crash in Victorville on Sunday evening, August 31, 2025.
According to witnesses and the Victorville Fire Department, the collision occurred around 5:03 p.m. at the intersection of Green Tree Boulevard and Burning Tree Drive.
A gray Honda Civic collided with a white Acura sedan carrying the mother and child. The Acura sustained major front-end damage.
Firefighters extricated the male driver of the Honda, who had his legs pinned beneath the dashboard. The extrication was completed shortly after 6:00 p.m., and he was transported by ambulance for further medical care. Witnesses reported that the Honda driver ran a red light and appeared intoxicated.
Authorities confirmed the crash is under investigation as a suspected DUI. The Victorville Police Department continues to investigate.
