Two people were killed, and at least two others were injured after a multi-vehicle crash on a freeway connector road in Cerritos on Sunday morning, September 1, 2024.
The crash occurred around 6:35 a.m. on the road connecting the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway to the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics were dispatched at 6:40 a.m. and rushed at least two injured individuals to a hospital, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.
The collision involved a white pickup truck, a silver pickup truck, and a big rig, with at least one person trapped inside a vehicle.
