A 35-year-old motorcyclist was killed during a collision with a box truck on the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning, September 6, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:45 a.m. just north of the Pomona (60) Freeway.
The victim was later identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office as Andrew M. His city of residence has not been released.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
