[09-08-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed, Multiple Hospitalized in Four-Vehicle Crash in Canyon Country

One person was killed, and multiple others were hospitalized following a four-vehicle crash in Canyon Country in Los Angeles County on Tuesday afternoon, September 8, 2026.

According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the collision was reported around 12:16 p.m. near Rainbow Glen Drive and Soledad Canyon Road.

Preliminary information indicated that a white Honda CR-V was traveling on Soledad Canyon Road and headed eastbound onto Rainbow Glen Drive when the vehicles collided. Additional details about how the crash occurred were not immediately available.

Authorities said a woman was killed in the collision. She was reportedly the sole occupant of her vehicle. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.

Multiple other people were transported to hospitals in unknown condition. Fire officials also reported that one person was trapped following the collision.

Authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash.
