A 28-year-old motorcyclist from Adelanto was killed in a crash on the northbound 15 Freeway near Devore, San Bernardino County, on Tuesday afternoon, September 9, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County coroner’s officials, the crash occurred at 6:50 p.m. between Sierra Avenue and Sycamore Creek Drive.
The motorcyclist, identified as Luis M., was traveling north in the No. 2 lane when he lost control of his Honda CBR1000RR motorcycle and overturned into the No. 1 lane.
Almost immediately, Minero was struck by a northbound GMC Sierra pickup truck. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene at 7:03 p.m.
The CHP continues to investigate the crash.
