Two lanes on southbound Interstate 5 just north of Lake Hughes Road in Castaic, Los Angeles County, were closed following a collision between a truck carrying strawberries and a rig transporting a crane on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash prompted a SigAlert and caused southbound traffic delays extending to Templin Highway. It is unclear if anyone sustained serious injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident and manage traffic in the area.
