[09-15-2025] Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run on Northbound I-15 Just South of Nisqualli Road in VictorvilleA 39-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run collision on northbound Interstate 15 just south of Nisqualli Road in Victorville on Monday morning, September 15, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol Victorville Area, the crash was reported around 1:48 a.m. Barstow Dispatch Center sent an ambulance to the scene. 

CHP officers and San Bernardino County Fire Department personnel discovered the pedestrian suffering from major injuries; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigation indicates the pedestrian was walking within the northbound lanes when struck by an unknown vehicle traveling at an unknown speed. The driver did not stop and continued northbound on I-15, fleeing the scene. 

Authorities have not yet identified the vehicle, though it may have sustained damage to the right front area and could have been equipped with a front bumper guard. The identity of the deceased has not been released by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.

The investigation is ongoing.
