A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, on Wednesday night, September 18, 2024.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to the intersection of Hazeltine Avenue and Burbank Boulevard at 11:30 p.m. where they found the victim, according to an LAPD spokesman.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Witnesses reported that the driver was traveling west on Burbank Boulevard when the collision occurred. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
