Police are investigating a hit-and-run involving a man in his 30s who was struck and killed while rollerblading in West Los Angeles on Friday evening, September 20, 2024.
The collision occurred around 8:38 p.m. near 2120 S. Bundy Drive and Olympic Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Witnesses reported that the driver of a Dodge Durango SUV was traveling west on Olympic Boulevard when he collided with the victim, who was also heading west near Bundy Drive, as stated by a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman.
The suspect fled the scene without stopping. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by LAPD personnel, as noted by LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
The investigation into the collision will be handled by the LAPD’s Traffic Division.
