A woman was hospitalized with minor injuries after her GMC Terrain collided with a United Rentals flatbed truck in Victorville on Monday afternoon, September 22, 2025.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the crash occurred around 1:08 p.m. on northbound Interstate 15 just south of the Mojave Drive off-ramp.
An OnStar airbag deployment alert prompted an emergency response. Victorville City Fire Department confirmed the woman, who was the sole occupant of the GMC Terrain, was walking around after the crash before being transported by AMR ambulance to a local hospital.
The GMC Terrain sustained severe damage, including a sheared-off roof and structural collapse, while the flatbed truck had moderate rear-end damage. Debris from the collision scattered across multiple lanes, temporarily closing lanes 2, 3, and 4 and partially blocking the Mojave Drive off-ramp. Tow trucks removed both vehicles from the scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash. Officials clarified that a tractor-trailer stopped ahead of the accident to provide a witness statement and was not involved in the collision.
