Two people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision in Acton, Los Angeles County, on Tuesday morning, September 23, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:20 a.m. on Sierra Highway near Crown Valley Road.
A black Infiniti Q50, driven by a 22-year-old man from Canyon Country, lost control for reasons still under investigation, crossed into oncoming traffic, and collided head-on with a blue Honda Odyssey driven by 57-year-old S. Hernandez-Trinidad of Santa Clarita.
The driver and front passenger of the Infiniti were pronounced dead at the scene, while a rear passenger, 22-year-old G. Gonzalez of Canyon Country, was hospitalized with critical but unspecified injuries. The driver of the Honda was also transported to a hospital with severe but undisclosed injuries. Detectives reported that the Infiniti occupants killed in the crash were not wearing seat belts, and toxicology results are pending.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
