[09-25-2025] Los Angeles County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision on Pacific Coast Highway Near Western Avenue in Harbor City

A 35-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run collision on Pacific Coast Highway near Western Avenue in Harbor City, Los Angeles, on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the rider was traveling eastbound around 12:55 p.m. when a silver van heading west made a left turn in front of the motorcycle. 

The rider lost control and was struck by an older-model pickup truck also traveling westbound. Neither driver stopped at the scene.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name and place of residence were not immediately released.

The investigation is ongoing.
