A woman in her 30s was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Wilshire Boulevard near Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday evening, September 25, 2025.
According to Los Angeles Police Department, the woman collapsed on the roadway around 8:00 p.m. for unknown reasons.
As she remained unconscious, a 1987 Honda Civic struck her. The driver exited the vehicle and called 911. The woman was transported to a hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. LAPD reported that no drugs or alcohol were involved for the driver. No arrests were made, and the circumstances leading to the woman’s collapse remain under investigation.
