A man between 30 and 40 years old was killed after being struck by a vehicle while riding a scooter in Panorama City, Los Angeles, on Sunday night, September 28, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 9:37 p.m. at the intersection of Strathern Street and Woodman Avenue.
Both the vehicle and the scooter were traveling northbound on Woodman Avenue when the driver struck the rider and fled the scene without rendering aid. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
